Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented engineer to join our team, focusing primarily on high-performance video processing solutions for mobile platforms. We value individuals who demonstrate genuine enthusiasm and initiative for technical growth and deep learning

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and optimisation of high-performance mobile video processing capabilities:
  • Develop and maintain video processing applications on mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to integrate video features and improvements into larger software solutions.
  • Participate in the design and architecture of video processing pipelines to ensure performance, compatibility and reliability.
  • Conduct performance analysis and corresponding optimisation for video processing algorithms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video technology.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency or keen interest in the Rust programming language is a critical asset.
  • WebRTC integration is a strong plus for this position.
  • Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and tools (e.g., Android NDK, JNI).
  • Solid understanding of memory management and optimisation for mobile platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in C++ programming language.
  • Experience in mobile application development for Android.
  • Knowledge of GPU programming and parallel processing.
  • Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan will be a plus.
