How we work in the Tech Team:

• The Tech team is the biggest in Tidio, with over 40 people.
• We like to be on top of tech, so we use the newest versions of technologies.
• We review our code and care about its quality and test coverage.
• We use the following stack: Playwright, Detox, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab).
• We work in Scrum.
• We offer the possibility of growing in different technologies (e.g., NodeJS, AWS, Docker, or Machine Learning) or paths (e.g., leadership).
• We exchange experiences in our guilds - QA, Backend, and Frontend.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Tidio, you will provide quality assurance support to the Product Team from the very beginning of the Software Development Life Cycle.

You will seek the best solutions to enhance the quality of our product while increasing the development speed. You're an excellent fit for this position if you want to ship world-class products while pursuing excellence in quality and improving the efficiency of engineering teams and processes.

You will be working in the Escalate value stream. This stream is formed by different tech teams that strictly cooperate on Tidio's HelpDesk product.

Tidio's HelpDesk is a unified customer service platform designed to streamline all customer interactions into a single dashboard. It combines a traditional ticketing system with live chat and multichannel support, enabling users to manage conversations across multiple channels, including email, chat, Messenger, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, all in one place.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will:

• Care about quality in every stage of the software development life cycle.
• Write e2e tests in Playwright and Detox.
• Perform exploratory testing of new features.
• Prepare test plans and determine what needs to be automated.
• Contribute to the incident management process by classifying reported issues.
• Assess testing frameworks to find opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with two technical teams simultaneously (8 engineers, the product designer, the product manager, and the engineering manager).
• Cooperate with Product & Technology Teams to establish new and improve existing quality practices.
• Impact on identifying and driving testing processes' improvements by actively participating in QA Guild meetings and other Technology department initiatives.
• Champion a culture of quality, mentoring teammates, and influencing the broader engineering organisation toward excellence.

You are a perfect fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assistance.
• Have experience writing e2e tests.
• Have experience using any automation framework, preferably Playwright or Cypress.
• Have an understanding of Frontend and Backend communication, e.g., REST API, and know how this applies to testing methods and automation.
• Understand and follow the best coding & testing practices.
• Show the "getting things done" attitude, proactively solving issues, and taking ownership of new initiatives.
• Have proficiency in English.

You will earn extra points for:

• Experience in mobile application testing automation, e.g., Detox, Appium.
• React knowledge of DOM elements and components in terms of E2E frameworks integration.
• Experience with Email deliverability (DNS, SMTP, DMARC).
• Experience with Meta integrations (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp).
• Experience with AI-powered systems.
• Experience even with Backend or Frontend development.
• Having experience with non-functional automated tests (e.g., scalability limits, performance, security, etc.).
• SaaS startup/scaleup company experience.
