Senior UI Animator

We're searching for a skilled and imaginative UI Animator to help bring our Innovation Lab titles to life—adding motion, clarity, and expression to the player experience. In this role, you'll collaborate with UI/UX designers, game artists, and developers to transform static mockups into engaging, polished in-game animations that enhance usability and elevate visual appeal.

You'll be responsible for animating UI elements, 2D characters, and environments, and for ensuring smooth implementation in Unity. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and tech—where performance, aesthetics, and gameplay meet.

Technical art experience will directly support your ability to optimize, prototype, and implement animations across the product. You'll also begin exploring generative AI tools for motion concepting and creative acceleration.

Experience with tech art or generative AI tools is a strong plus, offering extended scope to prototype, optimize, and expand the creative toolkit.

Key Responsibilities

• Animate UI elements and transitions that improve clarity, responsiveness, and user delight
• Translate motion concepts and static designs into production-ready animations
• Work closely with UX/UI teams and developers to ensure consistency and performance
• Animate 2D characters and environments to support storytelling and gameplay
• Prototype animations using tools like After Effects, Animate, or Spine
• Implement animations directly in Unity using its 2D animation system
• Collaborate with technical artists to optimize assets for different platforms
• Maintain motion documentation, animation libraries, and style guidelines
• Explore and prototype with generative AI tools for motion concepting and rapid ideation
• Embrace feedback and iteration to deliver polished final results

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience animating UI and 2D elements in games
• Strong grasp of animation principles: timing, easing, anticipation, and feedback
• Proven experience implementing UI animations in Unity
• Eye for layout, design, and motion aesthetics
• Proficient with After Effects, Animate, Spine, or similar tools
• Understanding of performance constraints for mobile platforms
• Familiarity with Unity timelines, shaders, or basic scripting is a plus
• Experience with generative AI tools for prototyping is a strong advantage
• Excellent English and interpersonal skills
