EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


• Bachelor of Material, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering related majors


• Minimum of 5 years experience in Technical Engineer in the Cable industry(Preferred to Telecom)

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:


• High aptitude for computer software applications.


• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite of products and SAP ERP system.

Job Purpose:


• Conduct Technical development activities of the requested
CPR grade optical cables (Indoor or drop cables)
: This includes fire retardant compounds knowledge, the design of the cables f or CPR grade cables, and the production conditions optimizations for the CPR grade achievement.


• This also includes designing, improving and completing all technical catalogues, data sheets and product information for Marketing purposes. Preparing detailed technical presentations to explain the technical knowledge relying behind the LS Brand, focusing on specific strengths of the designate d product family to customer and in order to increase the Customers Value Perception.


• New Product Development Projects as well as Product Cost Efficiency programs, acting as an interface between Market/Customer needs and R&D /Engineering Capabilities. Manage possible external sources for New Product or Product Packages completion.


• Translation and management of key documents and reporting to management.

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:


• Responsible for Technical Communications window of LS Cable & System Poland between customers and LS (including LS headquarter, LS Cable & System UK, France)


• Responsible for developing, promotion and marketing LS Cable products especially CPR cables

Qualifications


• Strong Technical Background, preferably in the Cable Industry (or related industries). Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred. Consolidated professional Experience in the fields of R&D, Engineering, Application Engineering.


• Must be prepared for business travels around European markets and South Korea (HQ).
