In this position, you will oversee rental income processes, maintain accurate lease documentation, and ensure precise financial reporting across our property portfolio. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid accounting foundation and a keen interest in real estate or property management.

Opis stanowiska

  • Generate and distribute monthly rent invoices to tenants.
  • Track rent payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Establish and maintain accurate lease records within the accounting system.
  • Manage tenant onboarding and offboarding processes, including security deposit handling.
  • Record and reconcile rental income in the general ledger.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to lease accounting standards such as IFRS 16 and ASC 842.
  • Collaborate with property managers and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Profil kandydata

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
    , ideally in property or lease accounting.
  • Experience with property management systems
    such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP
    and lease accounting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    and commonly used accounting software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
    and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills
    and the ability to collaborate well with others.
