Senior IT Project Manager

If so, Hempel's Data Democratization, BI & Analytics Team is looking for you

As our Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end delivery of data & analytics projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and quality standards. You'll drive agile processes, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure our data products evolve to support business growth.

Here's some of the main exciting responsibilities you can look forward to

• Lead and Manage Data Projects: Oversee all projects within the Digital Data & Analytics, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and with specific focus on all aspects of data products delivered.

• Agile methodology: using agile model and concepts, working in DevOps. Using more waterfall approach if needed for specific tasks.

• Drive Daily Standups: Conduct daily meetings to follow up on tasks, identify blockers, and provide necessary support. Anchored around DevOps

• Weekly Reviews: Organize and lead weekly progress reviews to ensure milestones are met and projects are on track, and report blockers to stakeholder meetings.

• Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive descriptions of epics, user stories, requirements, tasks, bugs, and acceptance criteria.

• Focus on Definition of Done: Implement strategies to enhance the project understanding of DoD of a live data product, that is expected to evolve right after project go-live.

• Drive Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication among team members.

• Maintain Project Documents: Follow PRINCE2 methodology for documentation, including weekly status reports, risk logs, Steering Committees etc.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Experience: Proven experience (at least 5+ years) in Agile project management and Azure DevOps

• Methodologies:  PRINCE2, Agile, and Scrum.

• Technical Skills: Long track of record of successful data & analytics projects in Azure and SAP

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

• A can-do attitude, solution-oriented, and focused on achieving project goals on time.
