Job Title: Project Manager - New Site Build

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in new site builds to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects for new facilities, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

About the Role: As a Project Manager for New Site Build projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, from initial feasibility studies to final handover. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new site construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope and objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during the construction process.
  • Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local laws, regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with designs and specifications, conducting inspections and coordinating with quality control teams.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, specifically in construction and new site development.

  • Skills:

  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
