ServiceNow Developer

About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our expanding team. This role is best suited for a self-driven professional who excels in agile development environments and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

As a key contributor, you'll work across multiple business domains—including ITSM and HRSD —to build and maintain enterprise-grade applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. You'll actively contribute to the full development lifecycle, mentor peers, and represent development outcomes during sprint reviews and show-back sessions.

• Design, build, and configure ServiceNow applications across ITSM, HRSD, and additional business workflows.
• Deliver sprint-based development aligned to agile delivery cycles and business priorities.
• Participate in end-to-end project delivery including discovery, requirements, development, UAT, go-live, and post-launch improvements.
• Develop and maintain automation using Flow Designer, Decision Designer , and other native workflow tools.
• Enhance the Service Portal and Employee Center using HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and custom widgets.
• Implement integrations with external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, and scripted web services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, product owners, vendors, and technical teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and clear documentation including technical specs, UAT guides, and release notes.
• Lead or support sprint reviews and show-back presentations.
• Provide second-line technical support and knowledge transfer to Tier 1 support teams.
• Apply best practices in platform administration, including ACLs, data security, and performance optimization.

Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Strong expertise in ITSM, HRSD, and Legal modules.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide scripting.
• Demonstrated experience with Service Portal, Employee Center, and agile delivery.
• Solid understanding of Flow Designer and integration best practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to document requirements, development outputs, and UAT steps clearly.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to coach and support peers.

Preferred:

• ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., CSA, ITSM, HRSD, App Engine)
• Experience developing Scoped Applications and working with IntegrationHub
  Exposure to additional modules such as GRC, CSM, or FSM
