Expert Python Engineer

Ciklum is looking for an Expert Python Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As an Expert Python Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project building a highly scalable enterprise platform for AI and real-time data analysis. The platform captures, catalogs, refines, enriches, and protects massive datasets while enabling seamless AI training, inference, and enterprise deployment across data centre, edge, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side Python applications using Object-Oriented principles
• Build high-availability, scalable platforms and complex management systems
• Implement and maintain APIs (HTTP, REST) integrated with a diverse software ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall R&D productivity
• Work on cloud-based AI SaaS platforms and containerized solutions
• Optimize code performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust system operations

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Python development experience (Object-Oriented programming)
• Proven experience in server-side Python programming, including multi-threading, multi-processing, communication protocols, and database integration
• Background in development of management systems or other enterprise/cloud-based high-scale systems
• 2+ years of experience working on Linux platforms
• Experience with networking and multiprocessing in Python applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong technical abilities including problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills
• Fluent or Upper-Intermediate English

Desirable:

• Experience in development of network, storage, server, or virtualization management systems
• Full-stack development experience with Web UI technologies
• Experience with Elasticsearch or SOLR
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
