Who You'll Work With
As a Tax Analyst, you will be part of Cisco's Global Tax& Customs team supporting the indirect tax function for Cisco in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Our team consists of experienced, highly skilled, and diverse tax and customs professionals around the globe covering all areas within Global Tax and Customs. What You'll Do
You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities related to EMEA indirect tax advisory, reporting and audit defense, and learn about& implement all developments in this area to keep Cisco compliant and efficient.
With that, you will have following roles& responsibilities:
- Provide indirect tax advice to Cisco sales, operations and support teams, aimed at enabling the Cisco business, with a"can d" mentality.
- Provide support around indirect tax compliance, specifically targeted at implementing and standardizing tax compliance processes.
- Assist in indirect tax audits for Cisco EMEA entities, including liaison with service providers.
- Support IT enhancement projects and automation/digitalization related initiatives.
- Work with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Tax / Law.
- Good working knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations in EMEA, with at a minimum 3 years of proven experience as an indirect tax advisor in a multinational environment.
- Possess substantial working knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP systems and able to independently analyse& work on the reports generated from these systems.
- Keen desire to understand the various technical aspects of the end-to-end indirect tax compliance process and to identify& drive improvement opportunities.
- Ability to coordinate responses to the tax authority.
