Department Overview
Video Solutions teams in the R&D center in Kraków have been growing dynamically since 2019. We currently have more than 150 specialists on board, working on solutions for fixed cameras, video analytics, video management systems, and access control.

We bring advanced video and analytics capabilities to public safety and commercial customers, including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure, and public venues. Video is no longer reactive – looking back at what has taken place – but it also informs proactively, issuing alerts in real-time when a person, object, or vehicle appears, or a perimeter is crossed. This critical intelligence enables users to take the right action more quickly.

Job Description
Are you a passionate and aspiring software developer looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? Join our Avigilon Unity Access team (formerly Access Control Manager) as an intern and contribute to developing innovative features for our product line

As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals in a cross-functional Scrum team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of software development from feature brainstorming to test automation, gaining practical skills in all stages of the development lifecycle. We're looking for someone enthusiastic about learning, eager to share ideas, and ready to collaborate with a highly skilled and fun-loving team.

Basic Requirements

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of JavaScript and C++
• Knowledge of Python and/or Ruby will be an additional asset
• Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Communicative English
• Availability 24 hours per week (minimum).
• 15 months Contract
• Availability to work 2 days per week in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82)
