About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Intune and Exchange Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to lead our Intune cluster and provide high-level support for both on-premises and cloud-based Exchange environments. This role involves acting as the key technical point of contact for clients, providing L3 support, guiding team members, and ensuring operational stability across all Intune and Exchange services.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Support

  • Serve as the
    technical SPOC
    for clients, L1–L5 teams, and Centers of Excellence.
  • Provide
    L3 support
    for Microsoft Intune and Exchange (on-premises & Online).
  • Act as the first escalation point for operational incidents, including
    on-call support
    on a rotational basis.
  • Offer expert guidance to end users and IT staff on Intune and Exchange technologies.

Intune Management

  • Oversee device enrollment, profiles, and policy configurations.
  • Manage application deployment, configuration, and lifecycle within Intune.
  • Implement and maintain security and compliance policies, including conditional access.
  • Monitor device health, usage, and application analytics to ensure platform reliability.

Exchange Management

  • Administer and maintain Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online environments.
  • Lead Exchange hybrid setups, migrations, DR configurations, and high-availability solutions.
  • Manage mail flow, mailbox policies, storage, and related components.
  • Ensure Exchange environments meet organizational security and compliance requirements.

Operational Governance & Documentation

  • Define, implement, and improve
    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    in alignment with client requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Team Leadership

  • Provide functional and technical leadership to internal and external team members.
  • Support team development by mentoring and guiding members in your area of expertise.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory

  • Expert knowledge of
    Microsoft Intune
    device enrollment, policy configuration, and application management.
  • Strong proficiency in
    security policies
    , device compliance, and conditional access.
  • Comprehensive expertise in
    Exchange On-Premises
    and
    Exchange Online
    administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities for both end-user and infrastructure-level issues.
  • Experience with Exchange
    hybrid setups

    HA
    ,
    security
    , and
    compliance
    .

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of
    Microsoft 365 suite
    , including SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with generating device, application, and compliance reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Exchange On-Premises, and Exchange Online.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.
