Join a Growing Financial Shared Services Center in Katowice

Our client, a well-established company in the logistics and supply chain industry, is currently launching a new Financial Shared Services Center in Katowice as part of its ongoing growth and transformation. We are now looking for a PTP Accountant to join this exciting journey from the very beginning.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the transition of financial processes and later contribute to their transformation and optimization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Process PO and non-PO invoices and maintain vendor data
  • Perform GR/IR reconciliation and support period/year-end closing
  • Prepare payment proposals and handle vendor queries
  • Ensure compliance with Local GAAP, internal policies and SLAs/KPIs
  • Act as first point of contact for PTP-related questions from stakeholders
  • Maintain and update SOPs
  • Support audits and internal controls
  • Participate in process improvements and standardization initiatives

Employer requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
  • Min. 2 years of experience in PTP
  • Good understanding of accounting and tax rules
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP knowledge
  • English min. B2; additional European language is an asset
  • Detail-oriented mindset, analytical skills, teamwork and problem-solving attitude
