Chief Operating Officer (COO) South of Poland
Role Mission
To ensure effective execution of the company's strategy and drive operational excellence by managing all key business areas, optimizing processes, improving cashflow, and increasing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Execution
- Translate owners' strategy into actionable annual and quarterly operational plans.
- Define KPI and ensure consistent execution across all departments.
- Align commercial, operational, and financial objectives into one coherent plan.
2. Operational Leadership
- Lead and coordinate department heads: Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics.
- Deliver on sales, budget, operational and project goals.
- Implement and run the company's management rhythm (planning, reviews, reporting).
3. Process Optimization
- Build, improve, and standardize end-to-end processes across the organization (from NPD to finance).
- Identify bottlenecks and lead initiatives that increase efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement operational tools: KPI dashboards, workflows, SOPs.
4. Financial and Cashflow Management
- Oversee operational cashflow
- Work closely with finance/controlling on budgets, forecasts, margins and cost analysis.
- Co-own P&L performance and key financial KPIs.
5. Organizational Development & Transformation
- Recommend and implement structural, process, and technology improvements.
- Build a culture of accountability, performance, and data-driven decision making.
- Support owners in strategic decision-making and identifying growth opportunities.
Required Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in operations, finance, sales, general management or previous COO/Operations Director roles.
- Background in a product-based company (beauty, e-commerce, fashion, retail or related).
- Proven track record in scaling and transforming organizations.
- Experience in process building, management and performance improvement.
