As a Quality Control Intern in Finance Team you will take part in review and strengthening the Accounts Payable process within the EMEA and North America regions to maximize process effectiveness, mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal and external law requirements. Your role would give possibility of cooperating with different departments within the company like Tax, Vendor Master Data or Cash Disbursement.

YOUR ROLE

In your daily job you will:

  • Perform quality checks of Accounts Payable documents, mostly cost invoices, debit and credit notes
  • Consult identified findings with process owners to clarify root cause of identified errors
  • Report to management exceptions identified in a review process on periodic basis
  • Coordinate improvement plans with process owners
  • Follow-up on identified issues in line with agreed process to ensure respective correction actions took place
  • Other activities requested by Supervisor

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • First- or second-year student pursuing a degree in Finance or a related discipline

  • Knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel)

  • Familiarity with accounting

  • Availability of minimum 20h per week

  • Good command of English language

  • Strong communication skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
