R&D Manager

to lead our Material Extrusion (MEX) technology roadmap from our headquarters in Poznań, Poland.

The Opportunity: Lead Omni3D's Innovation Engine

You will be the driving force behind the next generation of our large-format 3D printers. This role is central to maintaining Omni3D's position as a European leader and enhancing the agility of global supply chains.

(MEX) / Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

Key Responsibilities

As R&D Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Define and
    Execute

the R&D Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning and execution of all product development cycles, ensuring alignment with market demands and industrial requirements.
- Drive Material
Innovation

: Oversee the development and validation of new High-Performance Polymers (HPPs) such as PEEK, PEI, and PEKK, enhancing our material portfolio for extreme applications.
- Team
Leadership & Mentorship

: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and material scientists in our dedicated R&D lab.
- Ensure Industrial
Reliability

: Implement rigorous testing protocols for hardware, firmware, and process control to guarantee the highest standards of quality and repeatability (in line with ISO/AQAP/NCAGE requirements).
- Manage
IP

& Collaboration: Oversee intellectual property strategies and manage technical collaboration with university partners and key industrial clients.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in
    R&D leadership or senior technical management

, ideally within Additive Manufacturing or advanced robotics/machinery.
- Deep expertise in
material science

and the processing of engineering-grade thermoplastics (PEEK, PEI, etc.).
- Strong
project management skills

, specifically managing complex hardware and software integration projects.
- Excellent communication skills in
Polish

and
English

(preferred), with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
