ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for technology and a knack for solving complex problems? Join our dynamic team in Warsaw as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining our critical post trade transaction management system, EOD Position/Pnl management system used across the firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge .NET technologies, focusing on distributed systems, high-volume processing. You'll also collaborate with talented engineers across the globe.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


• Development and management of multiple, 3-tier back-office systems.


• Capable of making independent decisions while mitigating risk


• Demonstrate an ownership mentality in all aspects of the firm's technology systems.


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task between second-line support and strategic development responsibilities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in a formal enterprise-level development environment, particularly with C#.

Technical Skills:


• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming, and object-oriented design.


• Proven experience in building connected, service-oriented applications.


• Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems.


• Experience with Database Systems (Sql Server, Snowflake, Postgres)


• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to various audiences.


• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy.

• Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile software development concepts.


• Test-Driven Development: Experience with behavior and test-driven development.


• Experience with AWS serverless technologies.


• Familiarity with Distributed Cache like Redis.


• Full Stack Development: Experience and familiarity with an enterprise cache system, Experience with React JS, Finsemble.


• Financial Markets: familiarity with US and International Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodity markets.


• Post-Trade Lifecycle: Insight into the post-trade lifecycle processes.
