Following the sale of the PCR|ONE project to Bio-Rad Laboratories, Scope Fluidics is focused on the development of new projects addressing the largest global market needs, where breakthrough technologies can provide exceptional functionality and value.

One of such SPV is Hybolic, which focuses on essential biomarkers detection for early metabolic disorders detection and treatment.

We work in dynamic, young project teams, with the competencies to take a project from the conceptual phase through prototyping, verification, validation, launch, and production.

Responsibilities
:

  • As a R&D Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced measurement systems for quantitative detection of chemical reactions and concentration analysis of particles in studied environments. This role involves close collaboration with a team of laboratory chemists working on chemical reactions, providing engineering support for research and development activities.
  • Design measurement systems (hardware and firmware) based on chemical sensors, transmitting chemical reaction signals into measurable electrical outputs.
  • Analyze, select, and implement advanced detection methods including electrochemistry, field-effect transistor (FET) technology, and fluorescence techniques.
  • Develop and launch physical prototypes of measurement systems ensuring required functionalities, and verify and validate these solutions.
  • Calibrate and optimize measurement systems to achieve the highest possible data quality.
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory chemists and technology partners through all project phases.
  • Analyze measurement data and solve technical problems arising during development.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering and project documentation.

Qualifications
:

  • Master's degree or higher in electronics, computer science, mechatronics, physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the design of electronic and measurement systems.
  • Solid knowledge of electrochemical techniques, including electrochemical sensor design and analyte detection, with expertise in transducing chemical signals to electrical signals (hardware/software interface).
  • Understanding of chemical and engineering principles; experience with polymers is highly desirable.
  • Experience in calibration of measurement systems and analytical operation of laboratory sensors.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with openness to collaboration with chemists and laboratory staff.
