We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join the team supporting the bank's technology transformation to help development teams get out of technology debt and participate in rebuilding the bank's IT systems towards a modern platform.

This is an ideal role for an individual who values technology diversity, solving complex problems and would like to have an impact on the shape of modern solutions in a large organization.

Required to work from client's office in Warsaw 2 times a month.

*Your tasks*

  • Analysis and understanding of existing code
  • Refactoring and eliminating technology debt by implementing best practices and design patterns
  • Modernizing and migrating systems to containerized environments and new technologies
  • Creating new versions of backend services
  • Collaborating with product teams and architects

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET backend programming (preferred versions: .NET Core / .NET 6+)
  • Very good knowledge of C#
  • Experience working with systems with complex architecture
  • Ability to analyze and refactor existing code
  • Knowledge of design patterns and good programming practices

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and CI/CD and DevOps tools
  • Previous work with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with technology debt and legacy system upgrades
  • Experience working in the financial sector or with banking systems
