About The Role
The IT&D Senior Analyst – FinOps will be responsible for planning and managing GCP/AWS/Azure cloud billing and consumption. The role will be performing the analysis of the current Reckitt Cloud landscape and providing recommendations for cost optimization. They will create dashboards/reports to provide visibility of the budgeted vs actual spend for various stakeholders and drive cost optimization initiatives.

The role will work closely with the Platform leadership, Product Stream Architects, and Strategy and Operations leads to implement cost optimization measures and build FinOps principles within teams. The role will also be accountable for meeting the targets set for cost optimization.

Your responsibilities

• Support cloud cost management by monitoring usage, identifying savings, and driving efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support informed decisions.
• Help establish cloud governance policies and ensure compliance with security and budget requirements.
• Contribute to cloud cost allocation frameworks and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work with engineering to optimise resource usage, automate, and apply savings tools (e.g., RIs, Savings Plans).
• Engage in the FinOps community to share best practices and support IT&D upskilling.
• Maintain FinOps standards and deliver training across departments.
• Provide IT&D leadership with visibility into spending, savings, and FinOps KPIs.
• Collaborate with architects, strategy leads, and finance partners to drive cloud optimisation.
• Support product managers in understanding cloud spend and promoting FinOps awareness.
• Align cost strategies with business goals and communicate financials across teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to track spend and stay within budget.

The experience we're looking for

• Strong technical knowledge related to cloud infrastructure design and maintenance.
• Experience and technical knowledge of cost optimisation for cloud implementations, including cost forecasting and scale calculations.
• Knowledge in developing operational metrics and reports and driving improvements based on gathered data.
• Certification in GCP/AWS/Azure & FinOps is preferable.
• Knowledge in Excel / PowerBI
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to learn market-leading FINOPS tools and processes. Experience in Apptio is preferable
• 4-5 years experience in a similar role which has multi- Cloud vendo
