C# Developer (Cost Processing & Transactions)

Our team is part of Cost Processing & Transactions cluster. The cluster provides standard reporting for controlling group costs, processes the accounts payable and travel expense reports, and makes the system landscape available to numerous customers in the CFO department.

We are a diverse international team with around 150 employees in Frankfurt, Bremen, Hamburg, Lodz and Prague and have clients in Germany and abroad. We are responsible for around 200 accounting and controlling processes and 45 IT products, from A as accounting to Z like Zet-Visions and are therefore active in the heart of Commerzbank.

With systems created by our team we are meeting demands which cannot be met by "box" products. We develop and maintain applications used in controlling environment (group and segment controlling) which provide planning, analysis and reporting functions. Working close with business we can quicly adapt them to current regulations and needs.

What you will be doing?

• As an Engineer Development, you will supervise the entire development process from requirements analysis to design, performance-optimized implementation to deployment and testing.
• Your tasks will include identifying and implementing optimizations, modernizing software architectures in compliance with Commerzbank Book of IT standards.
• You will support the colleagues from Operation with questions about the established process, including analysis and rectification of issues down to the operating system and application level.
• You will work independently as part of an agile team, organize your work progress with Jira and document and "share" results and insights in Confluence.

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• High knowledge of C#
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience in shell scripting
• English (B2 level)

Nice To Have

• Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
• Basic knowledge of Cloud and containers
