Person on the position of Intern - General Ledger Assistant will perform accounting functions within the company's accounting systems and support general accounting functions performed by the Global Shared Service Center GL Team. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Support senior accountants with preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Support performing fixed asset functions
• Support the internal/external audit activities ensuring the integrity and timeliness of deliverables to the auditor.
• Perform ad hoc duties to assist the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related field - student status
• 0-1 years of experience 
• Very good knowledge of English
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to communicate internally and externally with diplomacy and tact
• Working knowledge of common MS Office applications such as Excel and Word
• Able to handle sensitive or confidential information 
• Availability to work 20 or more hours a week (it depends on you)
