Business Analyst - Functional Consultant

Your responsibilities

  • Take accountability for project success and delivery of IT and business outcomes.
  • Work with SAP General Ledger Accounting and Month-End Closing processes, including automation tools such as Smartclose.
  • Support the development of To-Be processes based on business and user requirements within the General Accounting (R2A) stream.
  • Participate in project scoping, develop functional specifications, and validate technical developments.
  • Configure the SAP system and document configurations according to project standards.
  • Identify and escalate configuration-related conflicts with other projects within the same SAP environment or related tools.
  • Support test case creation, test data preparation, and execution activities.
  • Assist with data migration and cut-over phases during deployment.
  • Provide country- and site-specific system knowledge relevant to the APAC region.

Our requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP FICO (General Accounting).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP General Ledger Accounting.
  • Experience in Month-End Closing processes and automation tools such as Smartclose.
  • Proven ability to configure SAP systems and document configurations following project standards.
  • Experience in developing functional specifications and supporting To-Be process design in the accounting domain.
  • Experience supporting testing, data migration, and cut-over activities.
  • Understanding of country- and site-specific accounting requirements in the APAC region.
