We're looking for a hands-on Procurement Innovation & Process Lead who will drive digitalisation initiatives, optimise procurement workflows, and turn operational data into actionable insights. In this role, you'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to improve tools, simplify processes, and lead projects that elevate transparency, speed, and decision-making across our supply chain.

What You'll Do:

1. Project Lead & Ownership

• Take ownership of procurement data projects (e.g., rate card standardisation, automated freight audit, supplier data harmonisation)
• Support system rollouts and enhancements from a data and process perspective
• Lead improvement projects and shape business processes

2. Cross Functional Collaboration

• Facilitate discussions between business teams and technical departments
• Clearly communicate requirements, insights, and project progress
• Support stakeholders in understanding data driven decision making
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement analytics capabilities within the team

3. Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify inefficiencies in procurement data processes and prioritize and evaluate automated potential
• Support the team in implementing improved tools and methodologies to enhance data accuracy, speed, and transparency
• Lead or contribute to digitalisation initiatives, including procurement tool upgrades and system enhancements
• Define & track KPIs and performance metrics to drive process improvements

4. Data Analysis & Actionable Insights

• Gather and consolidate operational data from internal systems and other sources
• Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for Operations and Supply Chain Teams

5. Prototyping & Process Design

• Build functional prototypes (Excel, dashboards, automations) to test and validate business ideas
• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for new business processes, iterate and validate

What You'll Bring:

• Project lead experience
• Strong experience in Excel (advanced formulas, PowerQuery, VBA is a plus)
• Solid understanding of data models, dashboards, and prototype building
• Familiarity with automation workflows (e.g., ERP integrations)
• Ability to turn raw data into business actions and process improvements
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Solution oriented mindset with an ability to challenge assumptions and propose improvements
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
