Join a project for the financial sector where we are developing strategic solutions based on large-scale data analytics and processing.

Working in our team, you will support initiatives within the IT/Technology area, providing core competencies in Big Data, Hadoop, Java, SQL and related technologies.

*Your tasks*

  • Development and maintenance of Big Data solutions based on Hadoop and data processing technologies
  • Development, optimization and implementation of code in Java 8+ and/or Scala
  • Implementation of data processing processes using Spark
  • Automation and operational support using Linux Shell
  • Collaborate with the project team and business stakeholders to deliver functional improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with Java 8+ and/or Scala
  • Previous work with Apache Spark
  • Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting and familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (e.g. YARN, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, MapReduce, Oozie)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins or similar)
  • Knowledge of English at the level of min. B2
  • Availability to work from the office 2 days a week
  • Residence in Poland required and fluency in the Polish language
