Manual QA Engineer - Freelancer

Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications built with React and Java on the frontend, and PHP on the backend.

  • Validate system behavior across Huawei infrastructure and various web-based environments.

  • Test banking-related features in sandbox environments, including Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) flows.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.

  • Verify that applications meet business, functional, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct UI/UX testing to ensure intuitive and accessible user experiences.

  • Prepare detailed reports on system performance, stability, and test coverage.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and infrastructure teams to maintain high quality standards.

  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and internal testing documentation.

Here's a set of skills we require:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance or manual testing for web applications.

  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Java) and backend systems (PHP).

  • Understanding of infrastructure environments, preferably Huawei-based setups.

  • Experience in testing banking systems or financial platforms, including sandbox environments and ILM processes.

  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools, such as Jira.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
