The role is ideal for an entry to mid-level Platform Engineer with strong Linux fundamentals who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and maintaining robust systems.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform routine Linux system maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in Ubuntu environments
● Manage and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices
● Support containerized applications and services
● Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable deployments
● Independently research solutions to technical challenges and implement
improvements
● Execute standard operational tasks and contribute to system reliability
Required Qualifications
● Solid experience with Linux command line operations, particularly in Ubuntu
● Proficiency in standard system maintenance and troubleshooting
● Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
● Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts
● Experience with AWS cloud services
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
● Self-motivated learner who can research and implement solutions
Nice-to-Have:
● Experience with AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS)
● Python programming skills
● Django framework experience
