GCP Cloud Engineer

To our Intelligence Division team we're currently looking for:

GCP Cloud Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Cloud infrastructure and development:

• Designing and implementing serverless solutions (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway)
• Managing cloud storage services (Google Cloud Storage, Firestore)
• Developing and maintaining data processing pipelines (Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow)
• Creating and optimizing Python applications with modern frameworks (Flask/FastAPI)
• Defining infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Setting up comprehensive observability solutions (Cloud Logging, Monitoring, Error Reporting)

What do we expect from you?

Technical requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency with Google Cloud SDK (gcloud) and APIs
• Advanced Python skills with libraries like pandas, selenium, asyncio, and Flask/FastAPI
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD implementation and automation
• Practical experience with ETL services in GCP environment
• Experience with version control using Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab

Behavioral requirements:

• Strong teamwork capabilities and collaboration mindset
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies
• Independence in problem solving and decision making
• Ability to read and understand code written by others quickly

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Advanced SQL skills for BigQuery
• Experience with Grafana/Prometheus for enhanced monitoring
• Experience with web automation and data scraping using Selenium
