Role Summary

We are seeking a
Solution Architect / Technical Lead
to design and deliver an
on-prem hosted self-service cloud catalog portal
, serving as an alternative to the current solution used by the customer. This role demands deep expertise in
on-prem platform architecture
,
ITSM integration
, and
automation/orchestration
, combined with strong client-facing skills to shape solutions for regulated enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Prem Self-Service Catalog Architecture

• Architect an on-prem catalog platform (VM-based or containerized) with logical separation of:
• UI / Experience layer
• Orchestration layer
• Automation & IaC layer
• ITSM integration layer
• Ensure
  high availability
  ,
  disaster recovery
  , and secure patching within on-prem infrastructure.

2. ITSM Integration – Current & Future

• Current State (Valuemation):
  Design synchronous integrations for request management, approval chains, change records, and CMDB updates with full auditability.
• Future State (ServiceNow):
  Build API-based, loosely coupled integrations aligned with
  ServiceNow CSDM
  and catalog models; avoid hard dependencies.

3. Service Catalog & ITIL Expertise

• Design request → approval → change → fulfilment workflows.
• Deep experience with
  Valuemation ITSM
  (strongly preferred) and
  ServiceNow
  (catalog, flows, CMDB).
• Strong ITIL process knowledge.

4. Integration & API Design

• REST API design & integration and message-based integration patterns.
• Integrate portals with ITSM, automation engines, and cloud providers.

5. Security & Compliance

• Architect on-prem security controls, identity integration (AD/LDAP), audit logging, and segregation of duties.
• Ensure compliance for regulated environments (insurance, banking, financial services).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years
  in solution architecture and technical leadership roles.
• Strong experience in
  on-prem platform architecture
  (VMware, private cloud, Kubernetes) with HA/DR/security.
• Hands-on expertise in
  ITSM integration
  (Valuemation, ServiceNow readiness).
• Proven ability to design service catalogs and CMDB integrations.
• Deep knowledge of
  IaC tools
  (Terraform, Ansible) for automation/orchestration.
• Ability to embed governance, approvals, and cost controls into workflows.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
