Technical Support Engineer
to join our after-sales team, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working on-site with customers, solving complex problems and ensuring the highest levels of system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

After-Sales Service & Support

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for utility-scale BESS installations.
  • Perform system commissioning, functional and acceptance testing with customers.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues within battery containers, power conversion systems and related components.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers after project handover.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers' operations teams.
  • Ensure timely, professional communication and customer satisfaction during service interactions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed service reports, including fault analysis, troubleshooting steps and repair recommendations.
  • Provide feedback to the engineering and R&D teams regarding recurring issues and potential product improvements.
  • Support warranty management and escalation processes.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with project delivery, engineering and sales teams to ensure smooth handover from project completion to service phase.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and partners for replacement parts and technical solutions.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in after-sales service, field engineering or systems commissioning - preferably energy storage, renewable energy or power electronics.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical systems (low/medium voltage), BESS technology, power conversion systems (PCS) and energy management systems (EMS).
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting of battery systems and SCADA/EMS systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals and engineering documentation.

Education & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation or a related technical field.
  • Fluent English and communicative Polish (other European languages are advantage).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • High level of professionalism in customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and occasionally intercontinentally.
  • Drivers license cat. B.
  • Polish electrical license: E1 (1kV and above).
