Pricing Analyst

Pricing Data Science Developer

In this role you will support the Global Property product line to drive improvements in Property pricing in all business units across Global Property. You will focus on data, analytics, algorithms and tools that are global in nature.

What You'll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Develop and maintain APIs using R, SQL, Python interacting with other teams design and implement reusable consistent UI elements and APIs to ensure scalability, maintainability
• Be able to efficiently integrate internal pricing tools and external data services
• Ensure pricing tools are compliant with AXA XL security guidance
• Provide coding support and advice to integrate risk consulting tools (flood LE, flood API) with pricing tools
• Provide maintenance, advice and coding support for our internal pricing tool
• Work with Data, Pricing and Analytics to find the right approach for modelling
• Support the assessment of global pricing algorithm changes
• Help drive appropriate consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across Global Property and Projects
• Development, documentation and maintenance of RMarkdown reports

You will report to Global Property Projects Actuary.

What You Will BRING
We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills And Abilities

• Master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Applied Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field
• Proven coding Skills in R (advanced in libraries: , DT, shiny), SQL. Python is a plus
• Compelling verbal communications skills to gain buy-in to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external clients.
• Good written communication skills
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
