We are looking for a
Backend Developer
to join our
Financial Reporting
team within
SCIB IT
in Warsaw. This is an exciting opportunity to build
scalable, efficient, and robust
global solutions for
regulatory reporting
, helping drive
risk reduction
and
operational excellence
across the Group.


What You'll Do

  • Design and implement
    high-performance reporting solutions
    using modern technologies.
  • Build and maintain
    Spark-based applications
    (Scala preferred).
  • Develop and optimize
    end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines
    for data transfer, validation, and business logic.
  • Collaborate closely with
    Product Owners, Architects, Analysts, and international teams
    .
  • Work in an
    Agile/Scrum
    environment focused on
    continuous delivery
    and
    fast feedback loops
    .
  • Contribute to
    CI/CD pipelines
    , ensuring quality through
    unit tests, automation, and code reviews
    .
  • Document solutions using
    JIRA, Confluence, and ALM
    .
  • Integrate data from multiple sources within a
    microservices-based architecture
    .


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science
    or a related field.
  • 3+ years
    of experience in
    software or data engineering
    , ideally in financial services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Apache Spark
    (Scala preferred).
  • Solid understanding of
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    and
    data processing frameworks
    .
  • Experience with
    integration solutions
    (APIs, microservices).
  • Familiarity with
    Big Data technologies
    and
    SQL databases
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    CI/CD tools
    (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in
    English (B2+)
    .
