Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Java Developer.Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is looking for an Java developer to join the MakerSource. MakerSource is a shared servicing division that provides BBH Systems with a flexible source of technical talent and expertise to support the development and implementation of technology solutions across BBH. By Joining MakerSource, you will be part of the development team and benfit from a dedicated training and development program. Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must
• Focus on quality development (TDD approach, UNIT testing, etc., CI, CD)
• SQL programming skills with ability to write simple Oracle queries
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Experience in multimodule projects development

 You will work with:

 Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop Java code using both frontend technologies (preferably Angular) and backend microservices
• Work with below technologies: Java, Spring, ApcheIO, JMS (WMQ), JPA, microservices, JSP, REST, IT Security (certificates, RSA keys, encryption), SQL
• Working with other BBH Systems groups to design and develop mechanisms based on user stories
• Cooperating with System Architects to prepare various technical options and recommendations for solutions to business problems and implementing them with designed quality
• Working very closely with the Development Team (developers and testers) throughout the entire software development lifecycle to explain the business needs – e.g. daily stand ups, kick-off meetings
• Maintaining documentation describing business logic and application behavior
• Working with Production Support Group to help in incidents resolution (Unix, Linux, bash knowledge to perform quick checks activity and tract processes status)

 Additional responsibilities:

• Performing DB queries and analyzing data
• Data modeling and mapping
