Maintenance Technician

As the Maintenance Technician you will monitor devices and technical equipment of its correct operation and respond in case of failures. You will undertake necessary repairs and remove faults as result of regular inspections and maintenance. You will make sure to provide media, supplying production lines, create and update technical and operational documentation and report of the progress of work performed on an ongoing basis.

Key Accountabilities

• Control over the technical condition of machines and devices owned by DP World in accordance with applicable laws
• Diagnosing and repairing faults
• Ongoing maintenance of machines and other equipment to keep their readiness
• Commissioning scheduled inspections and repairs od conveyors / and other devices
• Cooperation with external contractors in acceptance, assembly and servicing of machines and other technical tools
• Carrying out preventive and corrective actions
• Collaboration with the production team to maintain process stability
• Controlling and managing inventory of parts required for maintenance and repairs withing the business
• Performing infrastructure reviews in the company's area of activity
• Preparation and updating technological / operational documentation
• Submitting reports on the progress of work performed
• Compliance with health & safety and fire protection regulations
• Maintenance of the outdoor area

Qualifications, Experience And Skills

• Education: Technical Secondary school, engineering in mechanics or automation will be an additional advantage
• Experience in the maintenance department
• Willingness to work in a shift pattern
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and machines and the ability to operate and repair them
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Preferred experience in MS Office, AutoCAD
• Analytical thinking

• Problem solving and very good work organization
• English (B1) to read technical documentation is welcome
