Unreal Engine Developer

Our client, a growing game development studio, is looking for an experienced Unreal Engine Programmer to set technical standards, own complex systems in Unreal Engine 5, and help maintain technical coherence across the project.

You'll work closely with designers and artists, implementing advanced gameplay systems for a large, commercially oriented PC/console title in the simulation space.

This role requires fluency in Polish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement complex gameplay mechanics and systems in C++ in Unreal Engine 5
• Modify, refactor, and optimise existing features for performance and stability
• Design and maintain the architecture of core systems and internal tools
• Collaborate daily with designers, artists, and other programmers
• Review code, debug issues, and maintain high code quality standards
• Contribute to the overall technical direction and consistency of the project

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
• At least 1-2 shipped projects in a similar role
• Hands-on experience implementing multiplayer features
• Strong command of modern C++ and design patterns
• Understanding of multithreading in Unreal Engine
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Willingness to share knowledge and support less experienced colleagues
• High degree of independence and good work organisation
• Nice to have: familiarity with the simulation games market
