: Data Engineer - Working Student

12 months with the possibility to prolong

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a part of our team, you will:

• Assist in the collection of data from various sources
• Support the design and implementation of ETL pipelines in ADF, SSIS
• Perform basic database operations, such as querying and updating data using SQL
• Help to clean and preprocess raw data to ensure data quality using Python
• Assist in the processing and analysis of large datasets using Spark in Databricks
• Assist in the deployment and management of cloud-based data solutions in Azure
• Help to create reports and visualizations to communicate data insights using PBI
• Assist in the documentation of data processes, pipelines, and systems

Key Skills And Experience
You have:

• Active student status
• Good English language skills in both writing and speaking
• Experience with database solutions such as Oracle SQL, MS SQL, MS SSAS, Azure MS SQL
• Proficiency in transaction SQL and Python
• Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using PaaS like Azure Data Factory.
• First experience with big data frameworks like Spark
• Understanding of distributed computing concepts e.g Parquet files
• High ethical standards and the ability to manage confidential information and projects
• Good interpersonal skills for working as part of a team, combined with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
• The ability to work independently with little or no supervision
