Our client is building an AI-driven platform that optimizes workforce strategies and enhances how organizations hire and manage talent. Their product leverages machine learning, NLP/LLM-based chatbots, and smart automation to streamline the hiring process from specialist matching to interview assistance and beyond.

About the Role:

The company is looking for a Backend Developer to join their engineering team and contribute to the design and implementation of high-scale, 24/7 microservices. The ideal candidate is a skilled developer who values clean architecture, strong collaboration, and technical excellence.

Details:

Full-time, remote (Europe timezone)

Contract (C2C)

$30–40/hour (gross)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services following SOLID principles.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code (unit/integration tests, code reviews, pair programming).
  • Collaborate closely with product analysts, designers, developers, and customer success teams.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and retrospectives to drive process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with
  • Proven track record in designing and developing microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience developing with React (for internal tools or UI integrations).
  • Practical experience with RabbitMQ.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID principles.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Redis, AWS, or Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with WebSockets.
