Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented
Business Analyst
with experience in sports betting and online casino products to join their growing iGaming team. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, validated, and delivered to drive player engagement and revenue growth. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, understanding of sportsbook and casino ecosystems, regulatory compliance awareness, and the ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable specifications.

Your Impact

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across product, operations, compliance, marketing, and commercial teams
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support product strategy and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, design, engineering, compliance, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered successfully
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, wireframes, and process diagrams
• Perform data analysis using KPIs, player behavior metrics, and business intelligence tools to support decision-making and identify optimization opportunities
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) coordination and validate that delivered features meet business requirements
• Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing data to identify issues and improvement areas
• Ensure requirements align with regulatory compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions
• Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment

You Bring

• 2-4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in the iGaming industry is a must
• Proven experience working with sportsbook and/or casino products
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills with ability to create clear BRDs, functional specs, and user stories
• Understanding of player journeys, UX/UI principles, and engagement mechanics in iGaming
• Familiarity with sports betting markets, odds management, RNG, live casino, and gamification mechanics
• Experience working with agile/scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to work with data, perform analysis, and derive insights
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation tools
• Knowledge of regulatory and responsible gaming frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Nice to Have

• Experience with third-party sportsbook or casino platform integrations and their APIs
• Familiarity with payment systems and wallet mechanics in iGaming
• Understanding of bonus mechanics, CRM workflows, and player lifecycle management
• Knowledge of risk management and fraud prevention in iGaming
