Head of Logistics Excellence

Location: Warsaw

We are currently supporting an international organization in the recruitment process for the position of Head of Logistics Excellence — a global leadership role responsible for setting and implementing logistics strategy, standards, and best practices across all regions.

This is a high-impact position for an experienced logistics professional who combines strategic thinking with strong operational expertise, and who thrives in a dynamic, transformation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement global standards and processes for logistics operations.
  • Lead the execution of the global logistics strategy and performance improvement agenda.
  • Partner with regional teams and network planning leaders to optimize warehousing and transportation networks.
  • Drive productivity and cost optimization initiatives across logistics operations.
  • Support large-scale transformation projects, including ERP rollouts and logistics digitalization.
  • Assess and oversee the establishment of shared service centers for logistics operations.
  • Develop and deploy the global digital logistics strategy to enhance efficiency and service levels.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics, with exposure to global operations.
  • Strong background in logistics optimization, warehousing, and transportation management
  • Experience with ERP transformations and shared service implementation is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills - ability to translate insights into action.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills within international environments.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on approach and commercial acumen.
  • Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
