Would you like to join us in improving some of the most important platforms in Nordea? We are now looking for an Expert DevOps / SRE Engineer, Integration team to help deliver solutions for business critical banking applications, in particular Communication Layer (Kafka) and API management (Kong).

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Integration SRE team. We add value by providing, automating and supporting IT infrastructure based on modern IT toolset to drive highly available and cost-efficient applications. As the Expert DevOps / SRE Engineer, Integration team, you'll play a valuable role in building the financial solutions of tomorrow.

What you'll be doing:

Building modern infrastructure components, based on on-premise and cloud platforms, such as Kubernetes, Terraform Enterprise, AWS EKSAutomating infrastructure deployment and configurationActing as Site Reliability Engineer to support service issues, including future on call roleWorking closely with team members and other stakeholders across multiple countries, with most of the team located in Tricity, PolandExpanding your knowledge and horizons by having access to a large environment and learning from fellow technology-obsessed colleagues

You'll join a highly skilled team with a good spirit and nice atmosphere. The role is based in Gdańsk; Gdynia; Warszawa; Łódź.

Your experience and background:

Experience with various DevOps solutionsKnowledge of Kubernetes, AWS platformsAutomating through solutions like Terraform, Jenkins, AnsibleUnderstanding security implications in the context of a large financial institutionSource control using GitMonitoring with Prometheus/Victoria Metrics/GrafanaPython, Bash or any other scripting languageGood English skills

Nice to have, but not strictly required:

Prior experience with Kafka
