What will you do at SuperPlay?:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unity Team Lead to join our talented development team. As the Unity Team Lead, you will lead a team of skilled Unity developers, QA engineers, and technical artists, playing a crucial role in the success of our products. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant games that captivate our players.

Responsibilities:

• As the Team Lead, you will be guiding the development of the team and making a significant impact on our product's success.
• Lead and mentor a production team of Unity developers, QA, and TA, collaborating with various departments to discuss technical requirements of the features and mechanics.
• Collaborate with architects to make sure technical solutions fit the system's design and perform well.
• Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications under your team's supervision.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimising game performance and memory usage to ensure smooth gameplay on diverse mobile devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, best practices, and industry trends, and encourage continuous improvement within the development process.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working on well-known mobile or AAA game titles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in C# programming with a deep understanding of C# as an engineering tool — including its mechanisms, underlying principles, memory management, and functionality beyond basic coding.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and their practical applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Unity development with proficiency with tools and plugins such as UniTask, Zenject, Timeline, and async workflows.
• Experience in optimizing memory and space usage, ensuring efficient performance on various platforms (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with MVC, MVP, and similar patterns, with a focus on developing highly maintainable solutions.
• Commitment to architectural standards: Ability to develop features and systems that align with predefined architectural guidelines, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Proven ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and avoiding over-engineering.
• Good knowledge of network protocols and socket programming for robust multiplayer and connectivity solutions.
• Expertise in profiling, debugging, and optimization, ensuring high performance across all aspects of development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team.
• Ability to guide and motivate the team to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong code review skills, ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Knowledge and practical usage of Scrum methodologies, including planning, estimation, and team coordination techniques.
