Test Specialist

We are hiring a Test Specialist for an EU Agency in Warsaw and various locations around Europe.

Main Responsibilities

• Designs and documents test cases for software systems.
• Executes test
• Executes exploratory test sessions
• Reports Test results and found defects
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams
• Reviews project documentation
• Takes test lead role in smaller projects

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant ICT field

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

At least 1 certification among:

• ISTQB Advanced
• or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
• or 3 years' experience in test design above required Minimum experience at similar position

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

[01] Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"

[02] Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools

[03] Expert in designing tests

[04] Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

[05] Presents excellent communication and documentation skills

[06] Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

[01] Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans

[02] Hands-on experience with coding in one of languages - Python, java script, type script, VBS

[03] Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright or equivalent

[04] Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries

[05] Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint based applications
