Senior RTR (Intercompany) Accountant

We are looking for a Senior RTR (Intercompany) Accountant to support our core team in Warsaw and help us establish best-in-class service.

What we can offer you

You will play a key role in the transitioned processes for global entities, stabilizing the team and processes. You will ensure the smooth running of Record-to-Report (RTR) and Intercompany accounting processes to deliver best-in-class service.

Your main tasks

  • Independently perform and oversee accounting activities within RTR/GL and Intercompany processes, including posting journal entries in SAP/JDE.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month‑end close, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of financial reports.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (AP, AR, Controlling, Local Finance) to ensure data accuracy and process continuity.
  • Maintain compliance of RTR processes with Accounting Policies, internal controls, and external regulations.
  • Identify process inconsistencies, monitor quality, and implement corrective and improvement actions.
  • Participate in transition projects and support process stabilization after migration to the SSC in Warsaw.
  • Support GBS initiatives related to process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement within RTR and Intercompany.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update Accounting Policies, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Support Intercompany activities: reconciliations, clearing, discrepancy analysis, and communication with group entities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in RTR/GL/Finance roles.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI, including the ability to independently post journal entries.
  • Knowledge of JDE is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Intercompany processes; experience in transitions is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
  • Focus on process quality, improvements, and efficiency.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive changes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Very good command of English; German will be an additional asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with external stakeholders as well as cross‑functional teams within the SSC environment.
