Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for a Senior IT Analyst to join a project focused on maintaining and enhancing core banking platforms that support millions of personal customer accounts and deposit products. The domain oversees a large-scale ledger system built on a leading core banking engine, ensuring its stability, regulatory compliance, and continuous optimisation of all account-related functionalities. In this role, you will become part of an experienced team of Product Owners and Analysts who define both business and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with implementation teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with SAFe Agile practices. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering and analysing business needs, conducting system analysis, and applying data modelling techniques to design clear, scalable, and effective solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Gather, analyse, document, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to align on solution design
• Ensure scalability, robustness, and quality in applications and proposed changes
• Support agile delivery processes and contribute to requirement-related activities in sprints
• Provide technical and business insights for decision-making and development
• Monitor progress to ensure delivery aligns with scope, standards, and timelines
• Contribute to initiatives that simplify and modernise the application landscape

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience as IT Analyst
• Experience in requirements analysis and end-to-end requirements management
• Solid business and data modelling skills
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking abilities
• Good business domain knowledge, preferably related to banking or financial systems
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with large, complex datasets
• Good understanding of complex system architecture, integrations, and communication methods
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
  
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem or large-scale data platforms
• Experience working in a Nordic banking environment
