The Client Intelligence Team is part of the Reinsurance Strategic Team organization, works as a strategic and research analytical Team supporting in executing the Client Management, Broker Management, Marketing and Underwriting strategy. You will be part of the team which will support the execution of the underwriting strategy and strategic projects for Reinsurance segment. The Process Lead plays a key role in ensuring that the Client Intelligence team goals are achieved on Client Management, Broker Management, Data strategy and key strategic research. The role involves working as part of a team, collaborating, coordinating, and supporting the Senior Manager of Client Intelligence Team. The role requires a proven ability of project management, change management and stakeholder management.
What you'll be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Working as a leader of the project team to deliver a range of high-value analytics projects.
Understand the relevant data from our systems and carries out all required data analysis.
Gathering requirements from internal/external sources to perform decision making analytics/insights.
- Collaborates with other teams (within AXA XL and AXA Group) to provide best possible analytical solutions & product solutions to internal stakeholders and colleagues.
- Performs analysis (using SQL queries, Qlik, PowerBI) to create high quality and visually rich analytics depending on the specific task.
- Develops tools based on stakeholder requirements this can also be leveraged by other teams / regions.
- Shares the BI & Visualization best practices with colleagues across the organization.
- Analyze data to understand data limitations, improve data quality and actively contribute to data quality improvement efforts including User acceptance testing (UAT).
- Supports the overall roadmap for Reinsurance Data quality.
Creates a positive team culture promoting transparency, ownership, and collaboration.
Works with the Senior Manager to leverage Team's capabilities and build team footprint across the organization.
- Supports Management Functions with preparing project plans, project updates, steering committee reports etc.
- Conducts root cause analysis to identify and understand issues and present potential solutions.
- Works with Reinsurance Strategic Director, Senior Manager, Segment leaders and others with the organization to address process / technology issues.
- Works on various cross functional and cross regional projects.
- Contributes to the Client Management strategy by working with Underwriters in developing a strategic account plan for AXA XL key clients, including a client overview, stakeholder analysis, client engagement plan and growth strategy.
- Reviews the desk research on client, market and broker analysis provided by the team before being presented to the Senior Stakeholders.
- Works with key underwriters, product leaders, executives on building a cohesive view of key clients and brokers. This includes attending key client advocate / underwriting internal meetings.
- Supports the implementation of Client focused tools - customer relationship management tools (CRM - Salesforce) and Data Analytics tools throughout the business.
You will report to Senior Manager of Client Intelligence, Reinsurance.
What you will BRING
We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Master's degree preferred and experience in insurance with a focus on Client, Broker Management, (Re)insurance operations
- Outstanding consulting / project experience.
- Ability to work independently and think creatively is essential.
- Excellent Time management.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication and influencing skills
- Experience in a project delivery environment (Project management certification - Six Sigma / Prince).
- CII certification (ALMI / ALMI2).
- Experience with QlikView (or similar BI tools), Data Mining and basic statistics concepts. Expert knowledge of Power Bi, Power Apps environment with practical experience.
- Certification in Change Management and Project Management
- Proactive problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a work ethic
- Sound understanding of underwriting analysis & management, financial planning, and reporting
