Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Europe Risk & Finance Data team in Krakow, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional to make a significant impact within the organization's Finance and Risk functions.

Position Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the implementation of local data management processes aligned with the group model. You will explore and document data sources, manage a portfolio of data quality issues, drive root cause analysis, identify resolutions, and monitor progress. This position offers the opportunity to support the Group CDO by collaborating with local Risk & Finance teams to understand and prioritize requirements, maintain alignment with the group strategy and standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

 Monitor the implementation of local data management processes aligned with the group model

 Explore and document data sources (lineage) within a specific domain

 Manage a portfolio of data quality issues, driving root cause analysis, identifying resolutions, and monitoring progress

 Support the Group CDO by collaborating with local Risk & Finance teams to understand and prioritize requirements

 Maintain alignment with the group model (strategy, standards)

 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

 3-5 years of experience within a regulatory framework or complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, specifically in Risk and Finance functions within a financial institution

 Experience with Data Management strategies Good understanding of IT systems and data flows

 Knowledge of regulatory requirements like BCBS239 or IFRS9 is a plus

 Proficiency in English is essential, with French being an asset

 Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess large volumes of information

 Ability to collaborate across functions and businesses, particularly with other Risk and Finance teams, businesses, and IT
