As a
Senior Data Engineer (DW & ETL)
, you will design, develop, and deliver end-to-end data solutions that power modern analytics and AI platforms.

You'll work with cutting-edge tools like
Snowflake, dbt,
and
Airflow
, building scalable and cost-efficient data pipelines and ensuring data governance, quality, and performance optimization.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to enterprise-scale data initiatives while driving best practices across all areas of data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize data models and ETL pipelines for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Build and maintain data workflows using
    Snowflake, dbt
    , and
    Airflow
    .
  • Support the development of data models downstream of backend services (mostly in Snowflake).
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and reduce operational complexity and costs.
  • Define and manage best practices for data design, metadata, testing, and governance.
  • Collaborate across data disciplines to monitor and improve data quality.
  • Contribute to the prioritization and automation of data governance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and Data Modelling.
  • Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or a similar language.
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS and modern Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modelling best practices.
  • Experience working with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to process improvement.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, gaming, etc.).
  • Knowledge of accounting or regulatory reporting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, Databricks, Airflow, or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with stream processing frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
