Role: DevOps Java Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Cracow, Wroclaw, Poland (Hybrid)

Employment type: Fulltime Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage observability tools like
    Splunk
    ,
    Prometheus
    , and
    Grafana
    for log monitoring, metrics visualization, dashboard creation, and alerting.
  • Provide architectural and hands-on guidance to improve system
    resiliency
    ,
    efficiency
    ,
    performance
    , and
    cost optimization
    .
  • Work with
    Kafka
    and
    Cassandra
    in distributed environments to ensure robust data streaming and storage.
  • Automate operational tasks using
    Python
    and/or
    Bash
    scripting.
  • Collaborate with development teams in an
    Agile environment
    , participating in analysis, design, coding, and unit testing.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of multi-tiered enterprise applications using
    Java
    ,
    Spring
    ,
    Hibernate
    ,
    JDBC
    ,
    JNDI
    ,
    IBM MQ Series
    , and
    Web Services (SOAP/REST)
    .
  • Perform
    production support
    , including incident handling, bug fixing, and root cause analysis in a cross-functional environment.
  • Work across multiple operating systems including
    Unix
    ,
    Linux
    ,
    Ubuntu
    , and
    Windows
    .
  • Interact with relational databases such as
    Oracle
    and
    MySQL
    .
  • (Optional) Apply knowledge of
    Mobile SDK languages
    for mobile-related integrations.
