The impact of the role:
The Java Software Engineer will be a critical team member of the Application Chapter responsible for delivering innovative solutions within the smart mobility ecosystem.

On a given day, a Java Software Engineer will:

• Contribute in to the design and development of backend services
• Contribute to the requirement analysis and technical design
• Write technical documentation
• Write well designed, testable, efficient software modules
• Participate in code reviews & write functional, unit, and integration tests
• Be a member of a scrum team working with Agile methodologies

Requirements
In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java, Spring Boot
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Engage with colleagues and clients worldwide, thus fluency in English is a must
• Collaborate closely with your team to explore new possibilities and develop innovative solutions
• Embrace new technologies and practices, following an out of the box approach to keep us at the forefront of the industry
