Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in web applications.
- Assess application's response times, throughput, and scalability through rigorous testing.
- Utilize tools to simulate load and stress test scenarios.
- Develop and implement performance optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and architects on performance enhancements.
- Monitor web application performance metrics using various tools.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with industry trends in web application performance engineering.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Application Performance Engineer or Non-Functional Testing Engineer.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficient in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner Enterprise).
- Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTTP, and REST services.
- Familiarity with web server configurations and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
